Corporate event management in Abuja

Product launches, AGMs, award nights, staff retreats and conferences, planned and run end to end by the team that has delivered AICCEES for four consecutive editions.

  • AICCEES Official planner, 4 editions
  • 200+ events Delivered since 2020
  • Abuja & Lagos Events in both cities

Corporate events that run to the minute

Abuja is where government agencies, embassies, development organisations and company head offices meet. Events here often bring together senior officials, partners and press, and they carry real expectations around protocol, punctuality and presentation. A late start, a failed microphone or a power cut is noticed by everyone in the room.

Mara Events plans and manages corporate events from the first brief to the final report. We find the venue, manage registration and seating, build the stage and AV plan with proper power backup, brief every vendor and run the programme on the day, so your team can focus on guests, speakers and sponsors.

We have been the official event planner for the Africa International Conference on Clean Energy and Energy Storage (AICCEES) for four consecutive editions. For larger programmes with delegates, speakers and exhibitors, see our conference planning service.

How our fee works

Most of the cost of an event is the event itself: venue, catering, décor, sound and logistics. Our fee is separate and usually works out at 10 to 20% of the total budget, or a flat fee for day-of coordination and simpler events.

On a ₦5M event, that is about ₦500K to ₦1M. We agree the fee and what it covers in writing before we start, and we recommend setting aside another 10 to 15% as a contingency for fuel surcharges, extra catering and last-minute changes.
